Love this Alpaca

I wove 12 scarves for Holiday gifts, most of them from the 100% Alpaca weaving yarn. It is easy to work with, had minimal shrinkage, and nice colors.

Soft and Silky

This yarn is perfect for when you want a project to keep you warm but still be lightweight. I had trouble keeping my tie on tight (it's so silky) but other than that is was really easy to weave with. The colors shown on the website are pretty accurate the only difference is in person they have a slight heathering which gives the yarn a nice depth. I wove two blankets and will definitely use this yarn again!

What a beautiful, high quality yarn! I am planning to weave a throw with this color, in combination with cocoa and cloud. It is extremely soft. Since I cannot tolerate wool due to allergies, the alpaca is an exceptional alternative to use and, in my opinion, a step UP in my fiber world! No doubt the blanket will be used extensively during these upcoming cold winter evenings. In addition, Gist's customer service is exceptional. I had a few questions with my order and they were very quick in their responses, often getting back with me within an hour. I definitely will continue to shop with Gist.

Delightful yarn and fast shipping
