On my 15" rigid heddle loom I used this strong dark brown yarn in the weft. Mixing it with hand loomed wool yarn, I wove 4 panels and then sewed panels into a poncho. Gist yarns are terrific!
I have used this yarn for two projects now, a table runner and now kitchen towels which I am currently working on. It is easy to weave with and a great color.
It is on my loom right now along with white. I making a checkerboard placemats. Great texture and great color.
My first time using Brassard since I’m at the beginning of my weaving journey. I use a rigid heddle and made what I thought would be four napkins but turned out to be a scarf. Easy to use with no big tension problems. I used the 8/4 with 12 dent reed.
