I wove kitchen hand towels with this yarn on my rigid heddle loom. The towels are soft, thick and absorbent. I love them!
I used this 3/2 cotton as the weft in a baby blanket. The color is pretty and blends well with the yarn that I used for the warp. This green organic cotton saved me the trouble of dyeing the natural I had on hand. Plus, it saved me lots of time because I could start weaving right away.
I'm really happy with Beam. Vibrant colors and easy to work with. Of course, I expect no less from anything I buy from Gist, always excellent quality.
This yarn is so easy to work with, I've used it in several projects. Just finished some very soft dish towels. Unfortunately, my daughter took them snatched them before I took a photograph!
Beam is the perfect warp for thirsty wash cloths. Sett at 16 epi you can use beam as weft or 8/2 cotton as well. The colors are marvelous. All USA as well. Love that. Here are a set of waffle weave cloths on my loom today in licorice and mist using 8/2 cotton weft.
