Weaver's Notebook

Purchased as Christmas gifts for weaving friends. Was disappointed in the small size. The inside did not allow for a lot of information as both sides of each page are for two different weavings. I like attaching a sample of the weave or yarns used for project as well as additional notes. Just not enough room.

I have started using my new notebook and find it is great for keeping myself organized. I also have put little notes that remind me why I chose what I chose and things about the person who will receive the woven piece.

A great tool for weavers

I haven’t used it yet as I am a very beginner weaver but plan to do so soon. I think it will keep me organized and definitely help me plan future projects.

I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered from Gist, but I guess there is always a first time. While the Weaver's Notebook has printed spaces for all the important information it's size limits any personal notes that a weaver might like to add. I like to swatch a piece of yarn to my notes page and it's very small size really doesn't allow for that. Also, the notes area is very limited and because pages are printed on both sides you can't even use the back of the page for additional information. I don't think the hefty price is merited for this notebook. Stick to offering the beautiful and high quality yarns that Gist is known for and that I have come to really appreciate and love.
